About Kyocera:
Kyocera pioneered CSTN in 1988, and continues to offer a wide array of transflective and transmissive CSTN LCD modules. With sizes from 3.5" to 8.9" diagonal and formats from QVGA to VGA, Kyocera has the world's largest CSTN product line.
Today, Kyocera offers TFT modules in 3.5" to 15" sizes and dot formats from QVGA to XGA. The focus is on 5.7 and 6.2 inch sizes, which include transflectives and automotive temperature ranges. LED backlights are now standard on all new designs for all sizes. TFT monochrome is also available.
V-Series (C)STN and TFT models have mechanical interface compatibility within a given size. The TL-Series features some of the thinnest industrial TFTs in the market.
Kyocera manufactures Glass/Glass touch panels. Replacing the top PET layer with flexible glass they have higher clarity, a scratch-resistant surface and less visible dot spacers. The glass layers are hermetically sealed for superior moisture resistance.
